Who We Are
VetCompass is an online platform operated by Celestialboom, Lda. Celestialboom, Lda is a registered company responsible for developing and maintaining the VetCompass platform. We are dedicated to providing an online platform to help triage veterinary consults while respecting your privacy and the confidentiality of the information you share.
Consent
By using the VetCompass Platform, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use. You consent to VetCompass's collection, use, disclosure practices, and other activities as described in this Privacy Policy, and any additional privacy statements that may be posted on an applicable part of the Platform. This includes consenting to the collection and processing of information about your patient(s) for the purpose of providing triage guidance. If you do not agree and consent, please discontinue the use of the Platform, and uninstall all related downloads and applications.
What Information We Collect
To provide you with our veterinary triage services, we collect the following types of information:
Personal Information about You (the User/Animal Owner):
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your preferred language
- Information you provide when you communicate with us (e.g., for support).
Information about Your Patient(s) and Their Condition:
- Animal's name and/or identifier
- Species and breed
- Age or date of birth
- Sex
- Description of symptoms, health concerns, and relevant history you provide for triage purposes.
- Optionally, and with your explicit consent, photographs or videos you upload to help describe the animal's condition.
